Fire Nadotastic

Te Ngahere recently went to the Bay Of Islands College for a Science Roadshow. We went there to have some ideas from the scientists and learn more about science because we didn't know that much about it. We learnt tons about carbon dioxide, hydrogen and oxygen. An example is: We breathe 78% hydrogen, 21% percent oxygen and the other one percent is other gases like carbon dioxide, agron and neon. We also looked at some stands. My favourite stand was the honey stand because you could eat the honey and figure out what it tastes like. We then had another show where they made a fire tornado with a metal rubbish bin that's transparent.

Have you ever seen a fire tornado before? I know I have.

My post about ‘My Unique Scientific Infographic Method.’

Hi Bloggers, this week in Te Ngahere we have been working on a Science project called the Scientific Method. We had to make an infographic about the Scientific Method. I had to copy the scientific method but I had to write it on my own words. The scientific methods are a: question, research, make a guess/hypothesis, test and experiment, examine and test your hypothesis, modify your hypothesis if you need to, present a conclusion and retest if you needed to.

What was easy was getting a picture of my Scientific Method in a google drawing.

What was hard was always putting pointed arrows beside the next step on the Scientific Method.

Have you ever made an Infographic before?

Tomioka Giyu Demon Slayer! HASHIRA!

Hi there and this term we have been learning to create a mosaic art. Mosaic art is about placing shapes in all size to make a photo but it has to be appropriate. We used the polyline to outline whatever we chose to make. Next we colored each shape to match the image. I chose to do Tomioka Giyu from Demon Slayer, an anime series.

The part that was easy was picking the image. What was hard is polylining the shapes on the image because it takes too long to finish.

Have you ever watch the anime Demon Slayers?

Technology

Hi there my name is Mark and this week in Te Ngahere the year 7 and 8’s went to technology. I really enjoyed technology because we are making a waka and it  is so much fun. I think that my waka is coming together well and it probably will pass the teacher’s waka named Mr.E. I think that technology is really fun because we get to play and build things with timber.

Have you built a waka before?
