What I learned from fractions

This week we have been focusing on our fractions. We had to solve the

questions that we have given to us after we had to make a DLO about what

we solved. We had to solve a cake in fractions. For example I’m turning 12

and I invited 5 friends to my birthday party, I sliced 6 pieces of cake and

gave it to my friends and had 1 piece of cake left what fraction would it be?

It would be ⅙ because there is only 1 piece for me and 5 pieces of cake for

my friends.

Kia Ora my name is Mark and I’m a year 8 senior student at Paihia School. Next year I am going to Kerikeri High School. My favorite food is Pork ribs and Sushi. I love using my gaming computer to play my favorite game Roblox. My favorite restaurants are Jimmy Jacks and the Green Green in Paihia. I am from the Philippines and I can speak a little bit of te reo Māori but not much Tagalog. I also know how to speak English very well. I am good at spelling and writing and my goal is to stay up to date with my Blogging. I’m looking forward to finishing my blogging at the end of the year.
