In Te Ngahere we have been making a DLO about doubling and halving. The DLO stands for digital learning object. We had to show an example of how we used this strategy. We also had to show our work to the teacher and show how I worked it out. I enjoyed writing my DLO because I put shapes like a circle and some dots to explain how it works. Next time I’m gonna do some harder problems.

Geometry

In Te Maunga we have been learning about geometry. We have done a lot of maths and some geometry it was tricky in the end. We’ve also done math evidence on our math books and they are shapes that you have to make when you fold them.

Proceduarl Writing

In Te Maunga we are writing a procedural writing about pikelets, flubber and bird ball. Pikelets was my first favourite food that I ever made. It was fun mixing it and pouring. Second we made bird ball and flubber.

Flubber

In Te Maunga we have made flubber. We were making flubber for our maths. Then we got borax and pva glue. We had to put a bit borax with warm water and pva glue. Next stir it and finish it.
